Guild Festival 2020 at the National Village Museum “Dimitrie Gusti” from Bucharest
Association Branch of Religious Plastic Arts and Restoration : AFAPRR of UAP from Romania: Romanian Fine Arts Union, in partnership with the National Village Museum “Dimitrie Gusti” was pleased to announce that, on the cymas of the National Village Museum “Dimitrie Gusti” is hosted the Guild Festival of the artists who create religious art and restorers from Romania 2020, with the occasion of the celebration of their patron and protector , Saint Apostle and Evangelist LUKE, between October 18 and November 18, 2020.

„Contemporary art from Romania” the second edition at the Corvin Castle Museum of Hunedoara
At the Corvin Castle Museum of Hunedoara was open at October 19, 2020, the traveling exhibition “Contemporary art from Romania”, the second edition. You can see art works made by a number of 55 professional artists, most of them members of the Visual Artists’ Union from Romania, from the territorial branches, as well as from the branches from Bucharest. Curators of the exhibition are: Ami Vasilescu and Horia Gherghina. Mr. Sorin Tincu, archaeologist, director of the Corvin Castle Museum from Hunedoara, spoke at the opening. The museum is housed by one of the most beautiful medieval castles in Central and Southeastern Europe and has a mobile heritage that currently amounts to approx. 10,000 pieces that are divided into several collections. It is one of the largest castles in Europe and figures in lists of the Seven Wonders of Romania.

Art Theater from Deva: the last stage of the „Contemporary art from Romania” first edition
The first edition of the valuable traveling exhibition “Contemporary Fine Arts in Romania” was presented by the Intell News press agency throughout it, in the bilingual culture pages: Romanian https://www.intellnews.ro/tag/arta-plastica -contemporana-din-romania / and English Intell News Romania: https://english.intellnews.ro/tag/contemporary-art-from-romania/, as well as by the newspaper Ultima Oră, two of the media partners for which I write. Now follows the sixth stage, the last, after Marktrodach, Germany (February 2020), Petroșani (March 2020), the Casino Urban Culture Center in Cluj-Napoca (June 30 – July 12, 2020), the National Museum of the Alba Iulia Union (July 15) – August 8, 2020), Corvin Castle in Hunedoara (September 1-October 2020). The last opening of the first edition of the event took place on October 13, at the Deva Art Theater, Hunedoara County. Presented by: Mihai Panaitescu, manager of the Deva Art Theater. The curators of the exhibition are Ami Vasilescu and Horia Gherghina. The exhibition brings together 49 artists, most of whom are members of the Union of Visual Artists in Romania, 7 being members of AFAPRR – the Branch Association of Religious Fine Arts and Restoration of UAP in Romania.
